Job Description

The primary objective of this position is to support all operations and maintenance of pipelines and facilities in the Eagle Ford operating area. The Eagle Ford Midstream Pipeline Team is organized in a discipline manner, with this position responsible for external pipeline activities.

Responsible for proper operations and maintenance of pipelines and facilities in accordance with Company procedures, policies, and DOT regulations.

Responsible for all one-calls line location activities, knowledge of 811 and Korweb systems and tools.

Coordinate, supervise, and inspect the maintenance and construction of pipeline facilities per policy, procedures, and DOT regulation.

Complete applicable reporting and documentation of key operational parameters including …

Able to utilize computer applications such as Google Earth as used for pipeline and facility locations and routing.

Operate and maintain typical pipeline system equipment, measurement equipment, and valves.

Assist with daily pipeline operations and maintenance activities such as pipeline location, pigging pipelines, pipeline blow-downs and tie-ins, compressor operations, dehydration operations, lock-out tag-out activities, change valves, CO2 and H2S treating.

Complete appropriate documentation and reporting for inspection, maintenance, safety, and regulatory purposes.

Manage the receipt of invoices, proper coding, and forwarding for approval.

Assist in cost control related to pipeline operations.

Knowledge and experience with cathodic protection systems, measurement, SAP, and SCADA equipment.

Other duties as assigned by Pipeline Superintendent.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of (10) ten years + of pipeline operations and maintenance experience.

Understanding of oil and gas pipeline, facilities, and station facilities

Fundamental knowledge of instrumentation and controls associated with pipeline facilities.

Valid driver’s license.

MS Office skills: Excel spreadsheets, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook.

Knowledge of and experience with SAP preferred.

Personal Qualities

Ability to work in a team environment, as a leader and/or as a member, including interfaces with field operations, Gas Control, SSU, Measurement, and Facilities Teams.

Capable of performing duties independently with minimal day-to-day supervision.

Ability to Interact, communicate, and work with producers, customers, vendors, contractors, service companies, regulatory agencies, and the public.

Demonstrated problem solving ability applicable to production operations, maintenance, and optimization

High ethical and HSE standards

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Capable of working in vigorous outdoor oilfield activities, have manual dexterity with physical ability to work extended hours, able to climb, bend, kneel, twist, squat, and extend arms above head, stand for long periods, work in open right of ways, work in confined spaces, work in outdoor environment, lift and carry 50 pounds in day-to-day work, drive vehicle.
