Job Description

The Advisor, Patient Care Delivery team is a vital contributor in the development, implementation, and management of new clinical service and product offerings aimed at driving innovation by ideating, assessing, testing, and scaling new clinical service opportunities to evolve our patient care delivery model while unlocking value for our internal MinuteClinic business, retail, and transformation business. This includes planning, designing, deploying and delivering new clinical pilot services/programs, to full implementation that provide near and long term value drivers that position CVS Health for innovative and sustainable clinical growth across all business units. This role will play a large part in streamlining clinical design processes to facilitate speed to market pilots, mini-tests for the broader MinuteClinic practice in partnership with other cross functional matrixed teams. The Advisor, Patient Care Delivery, in partnership with other Clinical Patient Care Delivery team members will oversee products already committed for deployment as well as identifying innovative opportunities, designing and implementing new clinical service offerings, and optimizing enhancements to existing offerings for ongoing continuous process improvement designed specifically to meet the needs of our patients, providers, partners, and members. Specifically, you will be engaging key stakeholders in the development and implementation of new processes, methodologies, and service enhancements. You will own services/ programs/products from an end to end perspective, to ensure the team builds and launches clinical programs on time, within budget and agreed upon goals and objectives. Responsibilities include: • Manage moderate to complex projects – including product implementations while working with colleagues from all different areas of the company, and with external clients and/or vendors.• Act as MinuteClinic services SME for a variety of business counterparts and external business partners.• Deliver superior operational, project management, reporting, analytical and communication services to support successful delivery of clinical programs, projects, and product implementations.• Work both strategically and tactically in planning and coordinating projects across MinuteClinic and enterprise teams.• Hold others accountable and manage the workflow and intra-departmental relationships to delivering on commitments and manage internal and external expectations or changes to committed deliverables.• Establish well-supported service design and assessment methods with inclusive of quantitative analysis that will yield critical answers to questions at hand thru working with the required teams to help procure the analysis to provide specific recommendations that will enable the executive management team to make critical go/no go decisions.• Own problem analysis, issue resolution/escalation, organizational change management, program status tracking and reporting, and stakeholder engagement processes

Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications : • 5+ years working for a health care company - specific knowledge of clinical services and patient care delivery and business acumen • 6+ years of work experience with demonstrated organizational skills managing programs/projects/initiatives from an end to end perspective cross team/department with success • 3+ years of demonstrated increasing responsibility roles in corporate or retail operational/ field environments• Strong knowledge of patient care delivery, managing oversight of service line development and implementation processes and navigating effectively. • Excellent verbal and written communicator • Good analytical thinking and emotional intelligence • Proficient PC skills heavily utilizing Project, Visio, Excel, Powerpoint, and reporting databases: Tableau and experience with EHRs • Demonstrated ability to lead/partners and drive teams that are cross-functional/matrixed • Experience assessing and building a business case in partnership with other functional areas to identify areas of opportunities for the business• Good problem analysis and solution development• Comfortable speaking and presenting in group environments and with senior management• Ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds• Mature decision making processes and be able to understand the links and connections between functional business areas/units and factor them into decisions and plans. • A positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to work on multiple work streams and support on tasks that may not be in your immediate portfolio

Master’s Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant. Board Certified NP or PA with active license.
