About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. RRAD is near the corners of 4 states - Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. The depot's enormous maintenance mission includes the repair, rebuild, overhaul and conversion of tactical wheeled vehicles. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes receiving and determining the nature of emergency calls; dispatching of appropriate support personnel and equipment such as police, fire, or emergency medical services; submitting recommendations to supervisor on administrative actions such as promotions and awards; AND training others on operating radio transmitters, receivers, phones, telecommunicator systems, computers or other emergency systems to track emergency personnel and incidents. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
