How will you make an impact?

Thermo Scientific Environmental & Process Monitoring (EPM) deliver best-in-class environmental monitoring and process systems, equipment, software, and services to meet customers' most demanding applications.

This position will work with other R&D team member to perform PCBA or system test, support sustaining tasks including approval projects and documentation.

What will you do?

  • Rework PCBA or assembly or any design prototype related activity

  • Understand HW/SW and system operation, be able to build test fixture and test cases, document the test procedure/results

  • Maintain the lab, support other engineers for lab activity

  • Sutaining support for production/manufaturing/customer, trouble shooting failures under senior engineer supervision

  • Work with other engineering team member to complete the product approval process (EMC, Hazardous location approval, LVD).

  • Engineering change order, SAP operation/maintainance

  • All other duties as assigned

How will you get here?

Education

Electrical engineering/technology bachelor or associate degree with 3+ year similar experience

Experience

  • Experience with electronic component/circuit/system test

  • 1-3 years of experience in electrical engineering or technology

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Very hands on with soldering, rework skills

  • Communication and organization skills, driving results

  • Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.

  • Work with other engineers effectively as a team player to complete assigned projects on time and on budget.

  • U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

  • Electrical engineering/technology Bachelor or Associate degree with previous similar experience

  • Excellent oral & written English skills
