Performs specialized human resources management work. Work involves assisting in the administration of human resources management programs and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

-Performs specialized technical and administrative work in support of human resources programs

-Assist and guide new hires through the onboarding process-Research and resolves routine issues in connection with HRIS processes

-Monitor departmental email and phone lines to ensure exceptional service levels are maintained

-Assist applicants and department contacts with Tier 1 level HR-related questions

-Maintain new hire orientation schedule

-Compiles and prepares report and documents related to human resources activities.-Maintains human resources automated systems, files, and records, and may assist with the analysis of human resources reports or organizational methods.-Assists in conducting studies regarding staffing needs and problems, and may recommend actions.-Assists in planning, developing, revising, and implementing human resources policies, procedures, and forms.-Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:-Bachelor’s Degree. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate-One year of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

-Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.

-Knowledge of HR concepts, principles and practices.

-Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

-Excellent customer service skills
