Learning Services in Partnership with ReMed is well-known for specializing in brain injury, and our Home and Community program provides services to those with acquired brain injuries, as well as spinal cord injury and complex medical needs following limb loss, multi-trauma, or other diagnoses requiring comprehensive and intensive services. Our patients achieve and sustain durable outcomes from our functional approach to therapy delivered in each patient's home and community--with a focus on safety, wellness, and social-recreational as well as productive activities, we work to return each patient to the highest level of participation possible.
We are searching for a Per Diem Physical Therapist for muliple locations in the Dallas, TX area. The necessary locations are: Dallas, all areas--northern (Plano, McKinney, Allen), eastern (Dallas, Mesquite, Rowlett) , and southern suburbs (south of I-30, Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Red Oak, Waxahachie, Kaufman) The therapist will provide group and/or individual physical therapy services to clients in collaboration with an interdisciplinary treatment team to include psychology, physical, speech and occupational therapies. This position also trains staff in any necessary techniques or procedures regarding client mobility and pedestrian safety status. Specific areas of treatment may include, but are not limited to: vestibular issues, pain management, cervicogenic issues, flexibility and/or strength deficits, balance disorders, and development of home exercise programs. Therapists will be expected to travel, but will have a consistent case load month to month.

Education & Experience
Completion of a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy and PT license or eligibility in Texas is required; master or doctorate degree in physical therapy is preferred. Vestibular certification and/or training is a plus. Experience in treatment of neurologically related physical disorders in community based settings is strongly preferred. Excellent planning, organizational, writing, and time management skills are required. Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is a must. A valid driver's license, car and current automobile insurance are required.
