Eaton Corporation Material Handler - Shipping 3rd Shift in Sherman, Texas

Eaton’s B-Line Division is currently seeking a Material Handler to join our team. This position is based at our Sherman, TX facility and will work 3rd shift and will support the Shipping/Receiving department.

  • You will be responsible for unloading and loading material from trucks and/or other departments in order to keep flow of product smooth and efficient.

  • You will move raw material in a safe manner, and dispose of scrap.

  • You will operate forklifts.

  • You will store, space and deliver materials or products.

  • You will stack pallets and arrange materials.

  • You will receive training on use of power truck and other powered material handling equipment (ex. walking crane or hoist).

  • You will perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong product knowledge.

  • Forklift experience both stand up and sit down.

    Position Criteria:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally to frequently (33-66%) and up to 75 lbs. occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending

  • Ability to follow directions, work independently and close attention to detail

  • Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product

  • Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate

  • Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business

  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks
