CACI International Senior Logistics Management Specialist in San Antonio, Texas
CACI is seeking a Sr. Logistics Management Specialist for a USAF program in San Antonio, TX
What You’ll Get to Do:
Provide Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) requests, movements, returns, failures, incidents and periodic GFE inventory report
Research suitable substitute parts and processes
Identify shop aids and tooling required to support manufacturing processes
Develop or contribute to logistics data deliverables related to product support
Provide elements of technical data package required for field operation of equipment
Responsible for supporting manufacturing operations, including support of parts shortages and drawing error resolution
Oversee the procurement, receipt and storage of a wide range of electrical and mechanical parts and materials
Review engineering drawings for producibility issues
Oversee and other Direct efforts of less-experienced logistics professionals
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Experience managing logistics tasks associate with DoD or Federal development contracts
Familiar with electronic components sufficient to support inventory and kitting processes
Oversight of Government material management systems. Familiar with the appropriate methods for both handling and dispositioning Government property, materials and information
Inventory control and various logistics functions
Background in logistics including GFE material management and GFE inventory control desired
Experience with managing an approved counterfeit parts program desired
Knowledge and use of ISO 9001, AS9100 or CMMI quality process standards desired
