Aerotek Clinical Research Coordinator- Urology Study in San Antonio, Texas
Job Summary: Looking for an individual with nursing or Clinical Research background to assist a research site patient enrollment and recruitment through community outreach for clinical trial. This individual will act as the Clinical Research Enrollment Assistant and will be responsible for educating medical professionals and networking within the community for patient referrals. He or she will spread study awareness and find potentially eligible patients for study. This individual will screen and educate patients to see if the possible patients align with the criteria. The Clinical Research Enrollment Assistant must be comfortable with patient education and educating medical professionals.
This individual will also be performing chart review of patients medical records against study criteria. If a chart aligns with enrollment, he or she will then pre-screen the patient over the phone for a further assessment.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintain and update multiple online portals daily to track locations and metrics • Community Outreach • Patient recruitment o Visiting clinics and hospitals to meet with medical professionals about the study o Educating medical professionals o Speaking about clinical trial and patient background • Spread study awareness Visit local clinics and centers to supply study materials Posting fliers, brochures (recruitment materials) at targeted locations to reach patients (locations such as coffee shops, recreational centers, etc.) • Educating patients • Screening patients against study patient criteria • Data entry of key information regarding each candidate screened •Chart review
