Job Description

Responsible for achieving in-depth knowledge of the EpicCare Ambulatory application and serving as a liaison between end-users and the appropriate system build and configuration. Responsible for developing, documenting, and adhering to the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with Epic applications. Understands and assists with creating and building workflows for clinical processes.

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of the healthcare industry. Experience with Epic application or computer sciences strongly preferred. Clinical experience a plus (MA, LVN, RN, etc.).

Job Duty

Under direct supervision, analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed Epic application configurations. Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submits recommendations for solutions.

Job Duty

Prepares detailed clinical workflow specifications and flowcharts, and coordinates the system’s installation with the end user, ensuring satisfactory results.

Job Duty

Basic ability to utilize and understand the Epic application to support clinical operations, with heavy mentoring and supervisory oversight. Ability to bridge communication amongst technical and non-technical project staff and customers.

Ability to utilize and understand the Epic application to support operations with mentoring and supervisory oversight. Requires assistance in identifying and resolving issues. Basic project management skills.

Job Duty

Tests Epic application components according to a test plan and instructions with development of analytic and problem-solving skills. Other duties as assigned.
