Description/Job Summary
SUMMARY
Works with sales department to monitor the new- and used-vehicle sales and the performance of all employees within those two departments.
Responsibilities/Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Intercepts and sets up sales appointments for all incoming sales calls.
Re-contacts customers to attempt to correct customer relation problems and reschedules missed sales appointments.
Records leads into CRM, maintaining an accurate customer contact database for sales lead use.
Persuades previous, "orphaned" customers to return to the dealership.
Maintains CRM database supervising data entry corrections.
Assists in planning and coordinating large sales events.
Prospects for sales leads. Ensures numerous lead generators are distributed and acted on.
Required Skills
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Required Experience
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Six months related experience and/or training.
