Aerotek Assistant Project Manager in San Antonio, Texas


We need a APM in San Antonio to work on a commercial condo project. As this project is a blend of commercial and multifamily we are looking for a candidate who is interested in both types of construction. Below is our requirements for the position.

Assistant Project Manager • Looking for a Commercial Candidate who it open to both Commercial and Multifamily projects in the SA area. • Really looking for APM’s with 5-7 years of Construction experience who want to move up within our organization. • College experience is preferred. It would take a really special candidate with more years under their belt if they do not have a degree. • This position will require daily field inspections/production walks. It’s about 60% office and 40% field. They cannot sit in the AC all day. We want the candidates to learn in the field before they can move up to full PM. • Tasks for the APM: o Support Project Manager o Support the change management process. o Communicate with Owner and Subcontractor to resolve issues. o Support the pay app process. o Support the Superintendents to help maintain schedule. o Manage the Project’s entire Quality Control Program o Manage a PE who is there to help with QC o Manage Submittal process o Manage RFI’s o Schedule Preparatory Meeting with subs to go over quality issues o Participate in Subcontractor meetings and manage meeting minutes. o Manage project documentation o Manage Non-conformance log o Manage As Built o Manage project turnover and closeout
