Global Repair Operations Supply Chain Consultant

Location: Remote - TX

Our Supply Chain team within Materials and Purchasing drives the development, implementation and management of supply chain operations and suppliers in the delivery of strategic programs. It’s all about managing supplier relationships and ensuring the availability of parts and services in the supply chain, while maintaining inventory at acceptable levels. We focus our resources on the continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes and establishing key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning and forecasting.

What you’ll achieve

The role of Global Process Consultant Quarterback will report to the functional leader within the Global Process Standardization Operations team. You will be responsible for Process Engineering and Design solutions that will deliver optimization to the Repair Services Supply Chain. You will drive Global Operations WOB/BOB methodology across all Repair functional KPI’s.

You will:

  • Gather requirements and drive process improvements from conception through implementation

  • Perform current state vs desired state gap assessment by conducting system and material flow studies, on floor assessment and implementation

  • Use lean/Digital methodologies to drive process improvements/standardization globally

  • Perform regular value stream mapping with stakeholders/partners

  • Conduct reviews and readouts with Exec audience

  • Continuously measure process improvement success

Essential Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field; or 8+ years with a Master’s degree

  • Prior experience in leading global process improvements/standardization and driving value stream mapping exercise and/or Kaizen events required

  • Knowledge of supply chain operations

  • Strong program management skillset and requirements gathering mindset required

  • Strong communication and presentation (Exec level) skillset required

  • Strong analytical capability and ability to understand data and handle large data files to produce data results, business/optimization insights and cost/benefit assessment required

  • A demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment
