The Consultant will lead the strategy, planning and execution of programming content for global CSB events. This individual will work closely with the event leads, PR, internal execs, external partners and events agency to drive impactful, relevant and innovative event programming.

The Consultant will have a strong understanding of keynotes presentations, breakouts and press conferences. The candidate should also have extensive marketing communication experience, preferably in a technology setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with communications leads to source speakers including executives, partners and influencers for key CSB events such as CES, Dell@Retail, IFA Computex, SXSW & product launches

  • Develop programming agendas and content matched to business objectives

  • Partner with PR to develop the strategy and content for a variety of CSB event presentations

  • Source or create content for presentations including images, videos, slides, etc.

  • Manage production company for press conferences and keynotes

  • Schedule and lead rehearsals on site

  • Assist CSB Marketing VP with speaking and press opportunities

  • Assist PR with press tours and events

Requirements:

  • Work experience in public relations, strategic communications and marketing

  • Experience developing marketing & PR communications such as press releases, speeches, scripts and articles

  • Increase the effectiveness, appeal and reach of CSB messaging through strategic/big-picture thinking, strong storytelling and creative executions

  • Advanced knowledge in some of the following communications strategy (internal/external), including Digital media, media relations, executive communications, speech or content writing, etc

  • Strong interpersonal, writing and presentation skills

  • 8+ years of communications or marketing experience, preferably in the technology industry.

  • Bachelor's Degree is required; MBA a plus
