Cutting-Edge manufacturing company in east Dallas is searching for a motivated Senior Cost Accountant to join their team. In the Senior Cost Accountant role, you will be responsible for monitoring unit cost variance, implementing cost standards for materials and labor, preparing cost of goods sold and production reports, and related projects. The ideal Senior Cost Accountant candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3+ years of related experience. Solid organizational, communication, problem-solving and research skills are required. Advanced level proficiency with MS Excel and experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as Oracle or Great Plains, is preferred.

Requirements

Bachelors in Accounting

Certified Public Accountant / CPA is a plus

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Annual Inventory experience

Bill of materials (BOM) experience

Standard Cost Accounting is a must

Overhead Rates experience required
