Yet, despite our size, our people are more than just a number.iInternship Summary:Kuraray's paid internship program allows students the opportunity to obtain valuable, applicable work experience in a fast-paced, and challenging environment. The program blends real-world experience with an extensive overview of the chemical industry. Knowledgeable mentors will provide guidance as you gain professional hands-on experience. The internship will be three to four months in duration for the summer of 2021 with flexible start dates. Student interns must be able to work full time. The internship will be split between a major project and daily tasks.iThe program will provide hybrid/remote work opportunities for some positions where students will be able to work part of the time from their home and from the office.iNo Housing will be provided as part of the internship.iResponsibilities:Ability to work proficiently in an office setting as well as outdoors in a an industrial chemical facilityPerforming inspections and auditsReviewing and updating compliance documentsDeveloping and improving environmental compliance at multiple sites within the Houston area.Creating databases and files systemsInteracting with all levels in the organization including engineers, operations, and leadership.iQualifications:Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.Pursuing a degree in STEM or Environmental ScienceCompleted at least two years of college education before beginning internshipStrong academic performance minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA and extracurricular achievement.Demonstrated communication and leadership skills.Knowledge of Excel and Power BI skillsExceptional interpersonal skills and a proven track record of adaptability, innovation, initiative and integrity.Must have legal U.S. working authorization to participate in the program.Must successfully pass pre-employment screening process.Must be at least 18 years of age.iPlease apply online at:i America, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer AA M/F/disability/protected veteran statusiNo third party candidates accepted.For more information, or to apply now, you must go to the website below.
