This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Duties will include, but not limited to Daily analysis of hatch residue, taking temperatures and recordings throughout hatchery. Conduct necessary testing, inspection, and monitoring of activities associated with production. Recording chick quality parameters. Monitoring automation to ensure proper operation. Document record keeping activities monitor and insure compliance with hatchery SOP programs. Assist in special projects perform other duties assigned by the shift supervisor. Must be able to operate PlantView handheld computer device to record data such as chick navel assessments, sanitation plate counts, chick box counts, and breakout data.


Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively, and do basic math to keep records. Must have high school diploma or equivalent further education a plus. Must have a working knowledge of computers. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed. Must have a positive attitude, willing to work with other team oriented people. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job Must follow all company safety and personal hygiene policies Must have less than four (4) points and maintain a good attendance record Must not have been awarded a job in the last six months, unless posted job is of higher class Must not have had any written warnings with suspension within the last six months
