Gyrodata Sr. Business Development Representative in Midland, Texas

Job Function / Purpose

  • Travel to new and established client offices within the assigned sales district to provide and sell Gyrodata, Inc. services to the assigned client list to increase sales, revenue and wellbore placement

Essential Duties

  • Travel to new and established client offices to promote and sell Gyrodata, Inc. services, including wellbore placement within the assigned sales district

  • Maintain daily contact with clients within the assigned sales district

  • Visit on-going jobs to ensure client satisfaction within the assigned sales district

  • Collaborate with the District Manager to meet client needs and increase sales within the assigned sales district

  • Provide superior client service via creativity, responsiveness and strong interpersonal skills

  • Liaise with Gyrodata, Inc. personnel at all levels to ensure superior client service

  • Identify and develop new market opportunities for new and existing Gyrodata, Inc. services

  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals for clients

  • When proposals are accepted, communicate with Gyrodata, Inc. Operations Department to meet client needs

  • Support the Sales Team Manager in overall cost control of marketing expenses

  • Provide reports and forecasts to Gyrodata, Inc. Area Manager and District Managers

  • Respond to frequent demands of multiple clients (internal and external)

  • Support and assist Sales Representatives in other sales districts as required

  • Assist in other sales and marketing efforts, such as promotional events, throughout the North America Region, as required

  • Represent Gyrodata, Inc. in a positive and professional manner and maintain excellent customer service

  • Travel as necessary to perform job duties

HSE Function

  • Comply with applicable safety standards and maintain a safe working environment

QA Function

  • Comply with applicable quality assurance standards

Required Qualifications

  • Strong written and oral English communication skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 3 years experience as a Gyrodata, Inc. Business Development Representative I or 5 years similar industry experience

  • Ability to travel extensively

  • Clean motor vehicle record

  • Ability to use a computer for accessing and sending e-mail, opening and revising documents, accessing internet and web-based Gyrodata, Inc. systems, including SharePoint, Agresso, and ability to use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited 4 year college or university

  • 5 years or more oil field industry experience

  • Experience with Gyrodata, Inc. tools and services

Working Conditions

  • The job is performed primarily in an office environment with minimal exposure to safety hazards, although there may be exposure to elements and hazards inherent to routine travel. The job requires some physical exertion, including sitting, standing, walking, occasional light lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling. The job requires operation of standard office equipment, including computers and telephones. The job requires following written and oral instructions, attention to detail, ability to multitask, ability to work with others, ability to meet deadlines, compliance with specific safety protocols and regular attendance. The job requires following and enforcing established policies procedures and meeting quality and safety standards.
