JOB SUMMARY: The role of the Systems Administrator is to work with, and under the supervision of, the Chief Information Officer to perform all activities related to managing and monitoring all IT systems and infrastructure across multiple locations. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, securing, maintaining, monitoring and improving the IT systems as well as troubleshooting IT systems issues, providing support on IT projects and supporting teammates as needed. The Systems Administrator is expected to continue with the in-depth learning of related technologies and evaluate new technologies, in addition to the duties and responsibilities below. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manage Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks, Wireless Systems, Firewalls, Switches, Routers and VPN connections; configuration of all network-related systems * Develop, maintain, implement, and test backup systems and procedures to ensure that all systems backups are performed on a regular basis and data can be restored as needed * Assist the CIO to develop, maintain, implement, and test disaster recovery plans and procedures * Maximize IT systems by monitoring performance, troubleshooting problems and outages, scheduling IT system upgrades and collaborating with IT teammates on IT systems optimization * Ensure technology documents/certificates such as product registrations, SSL certificates, maintenance agreements, service contracts, etc. related to IT systems are evaluated, updated and processed * Secure IT systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access * Reporting IT systems operational status by the gathering, prioritizing and reporting of systems monitoring * Ensure all new hires have the appropriate IT hardware and software systems in place prior to their start date. Ensure all new hires and existing users receive appropriate systems training. * Maintain privacy and confidentiality of records, conditions, and other information relating to residents, teammates, and the organization. * Develop and oversee implementation and maintenance of security for all systems and networks, ensuring security breaches are minimized/prevented JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates must possess an Associate Degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field or possess the equivalent number of years of experience and/or education, as well as five years’ of prior experience performing the above tasks. Preference will be given to applicants who possess a Bachelor degree or have prior experience working in a healthcare setting. MSCSE, Network+, Security+, CCNP certifications preferred. Solid knowledge of Virtualization (Hyper-V preferred) and backups (VEEAM experience required); Solid understanding of Active Directory, PowerShell, MS Server, Hybrid Exchange Environment experience, MS SQL, MS Office. Excellent understanding of Office 365 Suites including but not limited to SharePoint, OneDrive and OneNote administration. Solid knowledge of Sophos Firewall and AV/Bitlocker management and configuration; understanding of LAN/WAN technologies including DHCP, DNS, VPNs, IPS/IDS, VLANs, RADIUS, etc.
