We have career growth opportunity for a Test Software Engineer to join our diverse Tactical Electro-Optical Infrared (EO/IR) Test Automation team in supporting a wide range of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems (ISRS) products and customers.
The Test Automation Department (TAD) is responsible for the design and development of test equipment hardware and software to support a range of products and customers. The Test Automation section within TAD is a growing and highly motivated team, providing quality on-time creative and economical test automation solutions.
Primary responsibilities will be to maintain and develop test software for a factory environment which exercises and analyzes deliverable product for our customer.
Candidate will be expected to follow established department procedures and instructions while working closely with program/functional supervision to ensure the overall test software requirements and design objectives are met. Candidate must be able to support cradle to grave efforts including requirements, design, integration, validation, verification, and maintenance for all test software activities.
Experience with LabWindows CVI, TestStand, C, C++, C#, LabVIEW or other programming languages
Experience with the development and integration of software drivers for the operation of computer hardware interfaces (Oscilloscopes, Digital Multi-Meters (DMMs), Network Analyzers, Power Meters, Digital Input/Outputs (DIOs), Relays, etc.)
Experience using test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters, DIOs, etc.
Familiarity in common computer hardware interface and data protocols such as Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), User Datagram Protocol (UDP), Serial Communications (Recommended Standard 232 (RS232) and/or RS422)
Familiarity with National Instruments product line products (Hardware (HW) and/or Software (SW))
Familiarity with analog, digital, and/or Radio Frequency (RF) signal test and analysis
Experience with HW and/or SW troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
Experience prioritizing and handling multiple tasks, developing solutions under general direction, and demonstrating troubleshooting skills
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) issued Secret Clearance within first year of start date
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems
Ability to translate requirements into cost effective and creative solutions
Sense of process discipline, order, and attention to detail
Knowledge of test software architecture and design in a manufacturing/production environment
Work with limited supervision and meet commitments for assigned schedule, financial, and technical goals
Engineering experience working within a team environment
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
Current and Active DoD Secret clearance or higher clearance

- Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering field is required by May 2021
