St. Joseph Health Courier - Part Time/Days in Lubbock, Texas
Responsible for the safe and confidential transport of medications, supplies, blood, equipment, specimens, x-ray films and other miscellaneous items. Direct supervision by Patient Transportation Supervisor.
- Transports laboratory specimens, blood products, x-ray films and reports, pharmacy
medications, Operating Room Equipment, Central Supplies between Medical Center,
physicians’ offices and facilities throughout the city in a timely manner and accurately.
- Follows all infection control policies and procedures as it relates to equipment, supplies and
other miscellaneous items after each use.
- Responsible for the safe operation of motor vehicle while transporting self and items between
campuses and throughout the city.
Demonstrates a positive safety culture as it relates to the performance of all duties.
Demonstrate a courteous manner in every interaction.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Current Texas Driver’s License and pass insurance check
