This is a contract-based role that will be remote, and the project is anticipated to be seven+ months in duration.
The responsibilities of the Project Employee will include, but are not limited to:
Reviewing and approving due diligence cases in accordance with the client’s policies and procedures;
Evaluating customer identification documents and Know Your Customer ("KYC") data for compliance with the client’s Customer Identification Program ("CIP") and Customer Due Diligence ("CDD") policies and procedures;
Performing external searches on customers;
Reviewing historical customer transaction data and identifying risk factors; and
Updating bank customer due diligence records, identifying data discrepanices within CDD records, and communicating potential risks to client.

1+ years' experience in a compliance role.
Understanding of the Bank Secrecy Act ("BSA").
Basic knowledge of Know Your Customer ("KYC") and Customer Due Diligence ("CDD") requirements.
Strong investigative and analytical skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Creative problem-solving ability and a collaborative mindset.
The ability to quickly learn new skills and subject matter.
The ability to apply newly acquired skills using logic and reasoning to sets of transaction data.
The ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize tasks.
A highly motivated, driven, and dynamic attitude towards work and career.
The ability to excel within a team environment and independently.
A demonstrable willingness to work more than 40 hours when needed.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in accounting, finance, economics or related discipline.(Professional/work experience will be considered in addition to, or in lieu of education).
GPA of 3.0 or better.
Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Access, and Visio.
