The One Commercial Partner (OCP) organization plays a critical role in Microsoft’s cloud growth and digital transformation with customers. The Go-to-Market (GTM) team in One Commercial Partner is responsible for driving the holistic go-to-market approach across the partner ecosystem. Our mission is to accelerate partner success through people, programs, investments, and campaigns across the partner lifecycle.
In this role, as a Partner Marketing Advisor for our Black and African American Partner Growth Initiative (BAAPGI), you will be the strategic thought leader to design and orchestrate the PGI Go-To-Market programs across the US – a pilot program to accelerate the growth of Minority Owned Business Enterprises that are part of the Microsoft Partner Network. In this role, as a Partner Marketing Advisor for our Partner Growth Initiative (PGI), you will be the strategic thought leader to design and orchestrate the PGI Go-To-Market programs across the US. You will work hand in hand with the Partner Development Managers in the US to support their partners with plans, communications, and connected co-sell execution that accelerates the growth of our partners.
We are seeking a high energy, growth mindset oriented individual to join our team as a partner marketing advisor.
The key responsibilities for this Partner Marketing Advisor include:
The goal of this role is to grow our partner ecosystem with businesses that are owned by communities that are currently under-represented in the industry ecosystem.
Developing strategic 1 – 5 year plans in collaboration with other Microsoft teams (ie, Corporate, Business Development, US Leadership etc).
Creating, supporting, and landing Co-sell programs designed to build leads and grow relationships with PGI partners.
Acting as lead US Program Manager setting the timelines, delivering on milestones, and communicating key changes. You will own the end-to-end connected delivery and communication of this plan and will have responsibility to manage the project plan with rigor.
Act as master simplifier. Work across multiple stakeholders and project areas – demonstrate the ability to synthesize a lot of information into concise and consistent communications that drive action.
Key measurements for this role include lead generation, partner growth, and Partner satisfaction.
5+ years of experience in partner channel development or marketing operations.
2+ years of project or program management experience.
Strong project management skills involving multiple internal and external partners.
Strong communication (written and presentation)
Inclusive and collaborative – driving teamwork and cross-team alignment including managing virtual teams across functions.
Excellent networking and interpersonal skills.
The ability to maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high demand environments.

Bachelor's degree required.
8+ years of experience in channel marketing, partner channel development, or marketing operations in the technology industry.
5+ years of program management experience.
Proven track record in successful marketing/sales programs management.
Demonstrated creative problem-solving complex business issues through analysis, data driven insights, organizational skills and sound judgment.
Experience with technology platforms and solutions with a reasonable level of proficiency across the four Microsoft solution areas.
