Are you a senior Sales Leader inspired by the prospect of helping our customers achieve their digital transformation by leveraging the power of Microsoft’s Cloud and through one of the most defining and successful partnerships in the technology industry?
We are looking for an experienced, energetic, cross-team leader who can drive impact across a broad network of stakeholders across Microsoft and our partner Avanade, both at a global and regional level to accelerate our joint business goals across our largest customers. Avanade is the largest fully dedicated Global System Integrator on the Microsoft platform and forms a core component of Microsoft-Accenture-Avanade partnership which is Microsoft’s biggest and most strategic partnership.
This position is a critical global sales leadership role with key responsibilities to strategize, orchestrate, and deepen our relationship with Avanade in alignment with the overarching strategy and execution of the Microsoft-Accenture-Avanade partnership. It provides the right candidate with significant exposure to the senior most leaders across both organizations and a close insight into the key strategies and bets and customer opportunities that we are executing on jointly.
Formalize and drive the Business Strategy and Growth Plan for the Microsoft-Avanade partnership in alignment with the overall strategy and goals of the Microsoft-Accenture-Avanade partnership.
Drive Avanade mindshare and prioritization across MSFT and into the regions driving executive alignment, engineering alignment and joint sales execution with the STU, ATU, CSU, Industry and Global Partner Services resources.
Drive and land specific Avanade Direct and/or Avanade led initiatives including outlining the joint value proposition, amplifying it through marketing channels, driving technical and sales readiness, orchestrating the initiative rhythms, managing the pipeline, and landing the business outcomes.
Drive and/or participate in the overall Microsoft-Avanade Partnering Rhythms including the Avanade Board Meeting, Area Rhythms and Engineering Rhythms.
Partner with MS Services and other Global Alliance Leaders to develop a common partnership framework to execute jointly on our Digital Transformation charter.
Partner closely with the GSI GTM Leader on joint marketing initiatives.
Overall success is measured against the defined joint Microsoft and Avanade goals which includes revenue and scorecard targets, orchestration of strategic priorities and joint wins.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Senior leader background with 20+ years of related sales management experience building complex commercial relationships with Fortune 2,000 companies; Accenture/Avanade background strongly preferred.
Strategic thinking & passion for execution. Executive level communication skills and the ability to mentor others
Strong, proven sales management track record of consistently holding or exceeding quota, using an indirect sales model, focused on solving enterprise customer problems, taking new products and solutions to market.
Knowledge of Public/Hybrid Cloud, SAP on Azure, Virtualization, Data Center Migration, Tier 1 applications industries/solutions, along with offerings of the key competitors
Strong Team Player: Work effectively across virtual teams to solve partner and channel issues, account issues, leverage best practices, & deliver results.
Knowledge on how to build a virtual team (across Accenture/Avanade and Microsoft), solution sales oriented.
