You will serve as a FIRE PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the FIRE PREVENTION DIVISION of NAS KINGSVILLE TX.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducting periodic fire protection inspections on installation; 2) Providing fire prevention and protection training to various groups of people on the installation; 3) Identifying fire hazards and safety deficiencies; 4) Maintaining fire prevention/protection systems; and 5) Ensuring building codes are in compliance with federal, state, and local fire protection/prevention ordinances, regulations, and policies. NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume. This position requires the incumbent to possess the following certifications: Firefighter I and II, Fire Inspector I and II, Fire Instructor I, Airport FF, HAZMAT Awareness and Operations, EVOC, EMT, and CPR as a first Responder. These certifications must have been awarded by DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard to meet the requirement. If you do not possess all of the above certifications you will be rated ineligible.
