Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - 40, Other - May include Saturdays to attend staff meetings and required TWC Professional Development training.
Summary of Position
To provide data entry support for Adult Education; must fulfill duties and responsibilities as provided by the Director of Adult Education. Incumbent will enter data, review data for accuracy and correct accordingly, provide technical assistance, provide instruction to others on proper input and updating of data, and overall maintenance and upkeep of the Texas Education Adults Management Systems (TEAMS) database and accompanying files.
Minimum Required Education
High School Diploma or High School Equivalency certificate (GED);
Associate Degree preferred from regionally accredited institution of higher learning
Minimum Required Experience
Minimum one (1) year experience in education. Demonstrate proficiency in reading and writing the English language. Operate duplicating and office equipment
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of administrative an clerical procedures such as managing files and documents, word processing, and other office procedures and terms.
Excellent customer service skills.
Communication skills which include oral, written, analytical and technical skills to express information to others effectively.
Strong organizational and planning skills. Ability to manage time by organizing, planning, prioritizing, and completing required work duties.
The ability to navigate and manipulate multiple software programs.
Strong data entry skills with the ability to input data, make required corrections, and create reports from the data. Ability to analyze data and look for trends or errors. Ability to set priorities; meet deadlines.
Performs other duties as assigned by Director of Adult Education.
