Senior Financial Modeling Consultant

job summary:

A Fortune 10 Healthcare Company is looking for a Senior Financial Modeling Consultant for a high level modeling project. The ideal candidate needs to have Advanced Excel skills including complex models involving VLookups, macros, etc. Experience pulling data from multiple sources to integrate into models including Tableau and TM1. This is a Remote position but the candidate must be located in the Irving, TX area. Project duration is 30-45 days.

Position Summary:

Work to create two comprehensive Biosimilar and Generics forecasting models for day to day use, tracking and reporting for the Multisource Analytics team. This individual requires the knowledge and/or experience to create an Excel model utilizing data analytics and advanced Excel functions to meet business requirements.

responsibilities:

Statement of Work:

BIOSIMILAR MODEL

  • Develop understanding of user/reporting requirements from various stakeholders including brand distribution, GPO forecasting and CSA pricing.

  • Identify and design layout of individual product summary sheets to capture all financial outputs for ongoing forecasting/planning

  • Build extrapolation from Tableau data to automate load of all actuals and monthly estimates

  • Develop dynamic reporting by channel for system load into TM1 and ongoing tracking

  • Create biosimilar quarterly stats, product charts, variance analysis and Product variance reporting for ongoing use

  • Develop documentation for model updates including forecasting and actual updates

  • Test all mid-month reporting and close updates of the model for completeness and accuracy

GENERICS MODEL

  • Remove all biosimilar data and information from existing generics forecast model

  • Streamline existing model by removing all controllable GP sections

  • Create MSPL reporting and data capture so that it reports as its own channel

  • Update launch curves and automate use of curves in the model

  • Test all mid-month reporting and close updates of the model for completeness and accuracy

CONSOLIDATED REPORTING

  • Build out reporting that consolidates information from each model to give overall Multisource view by channel, product charts, product variance summary, etc

  • Create simplified reporting for external users of information including GPO, adoption assumptions, CSA pricing and TM1 system loads

qualifications:

Minimum (Required) Qualifications:

  • Advanced Excel skills including VLookups, macros, and data analytics

  • Demonstrated experience with FP&A processes and techniques
