7-Eleven Senior Business Intelligence Analyst in Irving, Texas

Overview

As the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will help design, develop, run, and analyze reports and dashboards to aid in making better data-driven decisions across Product, Design and Merchandising.

This position will be on the forefront of translating our Go To Business strategy for new and innovate Store Designs, Products and Platforms

Responsibilities

This individual will be the key driver in measuring and analyzing merchandising data, communicate findings, recommendations and identifying additional opportunities;

  • Develop tools and reporting to measure productivity of space and remodel & new store space allocation that will assist in driving maximum productivity of space

  • Create and manage processes and tools to ensure efficient/effective transition from corporate strategic planning to store level execution

  • Develop criteria/guidelines for use of Validation and Implementation of New product and platforms

  • Define data requirements to lead Merchandise analytics for overall effectiveness

  • Assist in the development of analytics and reporting that is necessary to strengthen store localization recommendations that drive bottom line results

  • Partner with various functional areas (Store Operations, New Store Product Flow, Store Design, IT, Merchants, Planning, etc.) that interact with the Merchandise presentation team and support ad hoc reporting and analytical recommendations

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Business, Economics, Statistics or related field preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, reporting, planning or analytics

  • Exceptional data analytics skills, both in developing a product and evangelizing data driven product development

  • Familiarity with relational databases (SQL, Oracle, Snowflake)

  • Proficiency in Excel, Tableau with an ability to reverse engineer legacy tools nice to have

  • Mastery of product calendar and go-to-market processes; relevant knowledge and understanding of business processes and corresponding KPIs

  • Direct experience with Product Development, Merchandising, and Design
