Product Management, a function within Core Infrastructure Services, is responsible for the end-to-end product delivery agenda of CTI, driving the provision of best in class offerings for Citi that are aligned to the Citi Technology Strategy and delivered with the right technology, the right service model and the right economics.

Role Description

As a Product Manager, you will be working on products that are a part of the day to day work life of Citi’s workforce of 205,000 and/or provide the technology foundations for the majority of the financial solutions that Citi’s over 100 million Consumer customers, and 13,000 institutional clients rely on. Collaborating with team members, you’ll take products and new features from beginning to end, in line with our product governance processes. You will deploy new products, maintain and enhance existing products, drive awareness and usage, and measure the product performance ensuring positive user experiences, delivered at the optimum cost. You will drive the product inception and improvement process, seeking continuous improvement on product service levels.

The End User Storage Product Manager is responsible for document management for 300,000 staff at Citi. Including home drives ( I:Drive ) and shared drives on our NAS infrastructure, plus the product inception of CTERA on Object Storage and Box, a cloud-based document storage platform. And collaborating closely with the product managers of Sharepoint and OneDrive to deliver an end to end portfolio of solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the product inception process for new products and upgrades by preparing the business case and feasibility study, defining the service offering and catalog, enabling technical certification and product implementation by key partners, collaborating with the Product Marketing team to develop the communication strategy and roll-out approach, detailing the product offering, and preparing the product rate card

  • Benchmark new product opportunities across metrics such as cost, quality, capability etc. and enable product adoption mechanisms by checking for market-competitiveness, standardization potential, supportability and scalability and turn-around times

  • Develop Product Roadmaps that are endorsed by key partners

  • Create enhancement opportunities by reviewing existing metrics, analyzing trends and performance dashboards; strive for continuous improvement in product service level targets and offerings

  • Drive increase in product adoption by reviewing adoption rates and taking remedial action in cases of low or below target adoption

  • Track the delivery of strategic product programs and decommissioning of non-strategic products and conduct annual product assessments with all parties/teams involved in the product lifecycle


  • Project Management: Experience leading projects or programs across multiple technical domains, business sectors and/or functions. Lays out a thorough schedule, uses achievements to track and handle the progress, looks for obstacles and develops contingency plans.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; Project and Product Management experience gained from a large, global technology or financial institutions organization.
