Elior North America Warehouse Clerk in Houston, Texas
The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for verifying received goods and intercompany transfers and entering inventory levels into the company’s inventory tracking program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Upon delivery of goods - compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
Enters received goods into the inventory tracking program once verified by warehouse workers
Compares receivables against purchase orders and stock transfer orders (STO) for discrepancies
Investigates and resolves receiving discrepancies in a timely manner.
Assigns put away locations for received goods
Removes inventory storage location when product is shipped
When loading of trucks – warehouse transfers out inventory
Controls transferring of product to operating units (OU) both shipping and receiving
Warehouse transfers inventory for internal storage/placement
Accepts calls from vendors and internal employees to schedule deliveries and shipments
Maintains dock appointments and creates receiving and shipping schedules.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or
Six (6) to twelve (12) months related experience and/or training; or
Equivalent combination of education and experience
