Are you looking for an opportunity with a growing company? Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our stellar team in Houston, Texas. You will have the opportunity to help develop a brand new groundbreaking product for our Broadridge Asset Management division.
You will develop, test, debug and implement code for existing or new business applications
Perform full stack development using React, TypeScript, C#, and SQL Server
Review business and functional requirements provided by the Product Management team
You will build technical design documentation and contribute to technical design discussions that will result in new business or technical enhancements
Contribute to the technical roadmap and continually review existing architecture for improvements
Work in an Agile software development process, contributing to story and task creation
Ensure every coding path is unit tested and bug-free
Ensure all code conforms to software security practices and is free from security vulnerabilities
Work with QA to build test cases and explain impacted test areas
Rapidly address issues and fix defects discovered during client implementations when needed
5+ years of software development experience using the following technologies:
Database development using MS SQL Server
Design Skills & Tools: Model-View-Controller and Object-Oriented Design
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Experience using SDLC frameworks such as Scrum or other Agile frameworks and using tools such as Jira to facilitate
Experience with Application Program Interfaces (APIs), Messaging Software and Interoperability Techniques and Standards
Experience developing software for use in the financial services industry a plus
Experience with Cloud Technologies (especially AWS) a plus
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, related degree, or comparable experience
Good interpersonal/communication skills (both written and verbal), sense of humor, and outstanding character
Proven track record for developing, releasing, and supporting multiple high-quality products
Professional experience developing performant, scalable, complex systems
Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, with a demonstrated focus on client satisfaction
Positive working attitude and attention to detail
