Provide reliable, safe, and economical dispatch of gas on pipeline grid Develop a daily plan and adjust as appropriate Communicate daily plan requirements to other departments and assure implementation Start and stop hp as necessary to achieve plan results Configure pipeline as necessary to achieve plan results Maintain good relationships with Field Operations personnel Maintain good relationships with other operating gas controls Provide high level of customer service Provide timely communicate of pipeline condition both good and not so good Develop and maintain a data scan that provides reliable and safe operation of pipeline Develop operating technique that protects firm class of services and creates opportunity for interruptible class of service. Job level will be determined based on experience and knowledge.
Strong pc skill set including Microsoft Office and SCADA products Must work a rotating 12 hour shift Good problem solving skills, ability to utilize multiple resources to arrive at a solution Good decision making skills, decisive, accurate decision maker biased with obligation to serve, customer service, economics, and safety Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to quickly analyze changing conditions on the pipeline and make appropriate adjustments in operating parameters Strong customer focus, communicating with shippers to provide timely, efficient, reliable, and as expected volumes and pressures at all receipt and delivery points Job level commensurate with ability and skill set Ability to think quickly and provide support for emergency operations, including staying current on emergency operating procedures and practices.
