Franchise Performance Consultant-Remote
As a Franchise Performance Consultant, you will manage a regional book of business and report into the Vice President, Franchise Performance. You will service our real estate brokers/franchisees and their key staff (via field visits, video conference and phone support) from a business performance perspective with a focus on growing profitability, real estate agent count and company productivity. You may be assigned responsibilities to serve as Subject Matter Experts in specific areas of the business.
Assess the status and effectiveness of franchisee performance at the individual, team (e.g. marketing, finance) and organizational levels
Work with franchisees to establish short- and long-term goals for growth, productivity and profitability
Identify and effectively communicate opportunities for improvement in a franchisee’s organization
Formulate plans for implementation of recommendations
Aid franchisee in the creation of short- and long-term business plans
Routinely present and explain analysis of business performance to franchisees using metrics and data to highlight areas of success, opportunity, and deficiency in their organization
Serve as the trusted advisor and brand liaison to franchisee, helping them resolve issues in their organization as well as with the brand
Assist franchise sales team with communicating brand value proposition to franchise candidates
Coordinate support as needed for franchisee agent recruiting efforts
Suggest and resource training needed to maximize organizational performance
Assist learning team to conduct as many training sessions with franchisees/agents in book of business in order to grow per agent productivity
Identify issues with franchisees that may lead their operation to be classified as distressed, mitigating franchisee loss and maintaining business retention
Aid internal departments in the ongoing maintenance of the franchise relationship (franchise sales, finance, legal, contract admin, compliance, collections)
Aid in the franchise renewal process, including negotiating franchise agreement terms
Conduct a monthly Portfolio Review with VP, Franchise Performance
Establish an office visit plan based on a minimum number of in person visits per year to each franchisee
Conduct Post Opening Onboarding Support for new franchisees, including management of a specific checklist to provide broker support for their book of business, post opening, to ensure a smooth transition to the brand
Attend all brand events (annual conferences, broker retreat, regional events, orientations, and industry events) as needed
Bachelors degree or equivalent years of business/real estate experience required
5+ years experience consulting, managing, or owning a real estate brokerage preferred
In depth understanding of real estate brokerage business - experience owning, managing or consulting for a mid to large size brokerage firm preferred
Strong math, data analysis and research techniques
Demonstrated ability to coach and influence
Proven experience in project management of multi-phase projects
History of using analytical and creative thinking to solve complex issues
The ability to interpret and explain financial statements of an enterprise (P&L, Balance Sheet)
The ability to identify and explain business model of franchisee
Ability to balance the need to advocate for both company and franchisee priorities
Ability to travel, occasionally on weekends (up to 75%) when appropriate and advisable
Knowledge of real estate industry competitor business models and real estate industry trends strongly preferred
This position can be performed anywhere except Colorado.
