We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst in our South Houston, TX factory. The successful candidate in this role will be motivated by taking on special financial analysis projects, by using statistical tools to identify opportunities for cost reduction for raw materials, water usage, supplies, will be compliance process focused, and eager to manage some administrative responsibilities to support the Factory, such as the Kronos timecard system.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Lead the monthly month-end process for the factory; understand & reduce key variances

Assist in annual planning and forecasting of labor, maintenance, capital projects and other expenses

Develop and maintain proper tools to facilitate the planning process

Provide any necessary financial and business analysis to factory leadership

Work closely with the Regional Controller to ensure factory compliance standards are met and/or exceeded

Review all T&E and purchasing card expenses

Prepare standardized and ad hoc financial performance reports supporting the analysis of financial results

Lead monthly factory P&L Reviews and maintain appropriate expense tracking tools

Make recommendations to improve financial performance

Ensure complete understanding of P&L (plan, forecast, actual results)

Lead and execute factory projects to ensure continuous improvement

Become an active member of Nestle Continuous Excellence through in depth involvement and management of the key performance indicators for both the financial and operational aspects of the factory s continuous improvement program

Execute other administrative tasks (time card reconciliation, purchase orders, goods receipts, vendor interaction, accounts payable, anniversary/birthday tracking, etc.)

Acting as first point of contact for visitors and vendors

To provide administrative support for the leadership team as needed: assist the staff and the HR Manager on EAF and miscellaneous filing requests, coordinate NCE administration projects, assist in event scheduling tasks, assist in coordinating factory celebrations, meeting coordination and event preparation tasks.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or other relevant business field (required)

A minimum of 2 to 5 years of prior work experience in a similar Financial Analyst capacity

Prior experience in the consumer product goods industry desired, food or beverage company experience preferred

Advanced computer skills with proficiencies in Word & PowerPoint and experienced analysis capabilities utilizing Excel (Adv. Excel desired vlookup, pivot tables, etc.)

Experience with ERP systems (SAP required) (Essbase preferred) (Globe/BW preferred) for developing purchase orders and financial reporting

Effective written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to build relationships

Ability to interpret/use data effectively to generate improvement actions

Demonstrated success in problem solving, forecasting, and planning

Possesses excellent follow-up skills, detail orientation, sense of urgency, and strong work ethic

Demonstrate the ability to effectively collaborate in a team environment and as an individual contributor
