Title : Director of Business Development (National) - Tilt Up, Commercial, or Light Industrial

Location : Houston, Tx

Compensation : Base/Commission Structure Flexible + Benefits + ESOP

What we are looking for

A strong Business Development leader with demonstrated success in building a sales team nationally or regionally with experience in Tilt Up, Commercial, Light Industrial or similar. Particularly we are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial outlook that would be excited about the opportunity to grow our company to move into a new sector, armed with proven process, structure, and success.

What's In It for You

  • Drive sales through the major construction contractors in the assigned metropolitan market by building relationships and providing enhanced service & value

  • Participate in the hiring and training of new team members

  • Conduct product knowledge training on construction sites and in buying offices and at distributors

  • Provide excellent customer service to users, teammates and distributors

  • Be responsible for overall successful business development of the sector

  • Set clear goals and objectives for the team

  • Delegate responsibilities to subordinates and provide guidance and direction

  • Evaluate subordinates, providing constructive feedback

  • Manage employee concerns through collaboration with HR

  • Provide training on new product features, selling tips to help close sales and receiving customer feedback on products and service programs
