2nd Shift Production Team Lead

DataBank is pleased to announce a new opportunity for a 2nd Shift Production Team Lead to join our document conversion services center in Houston, Texas. This position is responsible for overseeing and allocating resources for large reoccurring production jobs in order to ensure the jobs are completed properly and on schedule.

Essential Functions/Job Duties:

  • Allocates resources for production projects. This involves working with other leads and supervisors to manage and negotiate project resources.

  • Provides training on the scanning process as needed.

  • Monitors work quality and helps employees who need retraining.

  • Schedules pick-ups and drop-offs with vendors and provides feedback to vendors on any service issues.

  • Performs scanning duties

  • Analyzes production data and creates reports in Excel to be shared with Operations management

  • Schedule Availability: 3:00 pm - Midnight

Position Requirements

Competencies Required:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and other company employees.

  • Ability to delegate and monitor work to ensure that tasks are completed properly and on time.

  • Ability to plan and organize work, and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.

  • Ability to analyze production data and generate reports in Excel that reflect the analysis.

  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and colleagues.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associate‚Äôs degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • 2-3 years in a similar supervisory position in a production area.

  • Proficient with Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

  • Knowledge of business math and simple statistics is preferred.

  • Background in scanning, imaging and indexing is a plus.
