L3 Technologies Programmer/Analyst 1 in Greenville, Texas
L3 Aerospace Systems is looking for an Entry Level Developer to develop and maintain custom applications for a rapidly expanding user base.
Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SQL database queries using SQL, Functions, Triggers, and Stored Procedures.
Create and maintain code in VB6 and VB.Net programming languages.
Develop and implement test plans and test scripts.
Document code changes.
Regularly communicate project progress, issues and risks to project manager.
Readily accept responsibility and demonstrate ability to work independently and in a team environment as judged by peers and management.
Work with other team members and team lead to understand design documents.
Understand technical specifications and produce detailed designs and functional application code confirming to coding standards and practices under the direction of Team Lead.
Bachelor Degree in a Technical Field such as Computer Systems Programming, Management Information Systems, etc., and a minimum of zero (0) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience and/or college course completion in Microsoft SQL Server development is required.
Experience and/or knowledge in SQL, Functions, Triggers, VB6 and VB.Net is required.
Candidate must be able to work closely with team members and have a willingness to learn.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
