Under the general supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for the daily coordination of warehouse staff. The role oversees a team of employees in shipping and receiving of orders in a timely and accurate fashion. The incumbent takes charge of the entire picking/packing /shipping process to ensure all orders are accurate, and completed to meet transport pick up times. This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements.
Coordinates the accurate and efficient process of receiving, stocking, shipping, replenishment and picking of merchandise. Ensures compliance with all Health Canada government regulations. Ensures cleanliness of the facility is maintained. Ensures compliance with all applicable safety policies and procedures. Assists the Warehouse Supervisor with developing and recommending plans to improve current warehouse processes and configurations to promote efficiency.
Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with Distribution Center employees. Assists the Warehouse Supervisor with the, training and performance management of warehouse employees. Tracks and monitors daily attendance and overtime as needed. Responsible for motivating and directing the work of others. Oversee the management of Cubixx, process review and inventory allocation. Product labeling, and staff allocation as required. Performs related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Requires a post secondary education in business administration, supply chain management obtained through the completion of a college or university degree program or a minimum of one year related job experience.
