Robert Half Technology is looking for a Cybersecurity Manager. This Cybersecurity Manager is a direct hire, FTE (Full Time Employment) position with one of our client companies in the DFW area. Summary- The Cybersecurity Manager is a member of the Technology Risk Team. This Cybersecurity Manager will be responsible for threat monitoring as well as incident detection, and response. In each of those roles the selected candidate will be responsible for setting strategy as well as executing it. As part of the incident detection role, the Cybersecurity Manager will be responsible for managing our client's Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) including log ingestion as well as creating and managing alerts and dashboards. A successful candidate will demonstrate experience in creative alert creation as well as tuning alerts to minimize false positives. Further, the Manager will be responsible for staying current with the latest attack techniques and proactively utilizing the SIEM to detect the use of those techniques. This will include being our client's primary representative in FS?ISAC and determining appropriate sources of threat intelligence. The Cybersecurity Manager will also be responsible for developing and maintain the response program. This includes maintaining incident response procedures, performing investigations, and coordinating drills for both technical staff and senior management to ensure preparedness for a cybersecurity incident. In addition, the successful candidate will coordinate penetration tests performed by third parties and be responsible for integrating the results of those tests into the incident detection program. As this role includes incident response responsibilities, it may require occasional work on nights and weekends with little or no advanced warning.
