JOB SUMMARY

The Client Manager I is, generally, a role for an individual within the first 2 years of experience leading Client relationships and performing duties and responsibilities directly for Clients in concert with internal InforMed teams. This role provides the opportunity for an individual to grow and develop professionally with a goal of working independently of mentorship and significant operational support from senior leadership within the Client Management department. The Client Manager I will usually manage a smaller number of Clients with less complexity than the Client Manager II. Complexity involves breadth of products used by the Client and the number of groups that fall under a Client relationship.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with guidelines, policies and procedures and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Manages relationships with at least 2-3 Clients

  • Lead Client interactions across all InforMed service lines including implementations of various programs and plans – Project Management

  • Assure consistent production performance for Clients

  • Respond to Client issue requests, interacting with various InforMed departments to resolve Client issues when necessary

  • Engage in a broad spectrum of vendor activities such as PBM, data management, re-insurance, consultants/brokers etc.

  • Conduct timely Client process meetings including preparation of meeting agenda and content; including financial reviews to support Client goals and strategies. Participate in Client strategy sessions where necessary

  • Coordinate, by attendance or briefing, the various InforMed production meetings to assure performance and quality Client interactions

  • Perform and review quality assurance functions for standard reports including a regular review of Client standard web based reports in concert with applicable staff ; Develop and run Ad hoc reports as needed

  • Analyze Client trends using reporting tools; both financial and clinical

  • Participate in InforMed companywide growth initiatives through assisting with Client growth and new Client acquisition including participation in companywide Client Management and sales meetings

  • Maintain Client satisfaction scores of at least 3

  • Lead Client renewal activity for assigned Clients including all internal processes and procedures

  • Assure proper contract completion for various plan elements such as; administrative agreement, re-insurance, network and ancillary plans

  • Interact professionally with InforMed staff with regard to Client projects and needs

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Client issues and anticipate possible problem areas; work with Clients and InforMed staff to resolve problems and prevent their reoccurrence
