Compliance Engineer II (1805175) – Freeport, TX

Where the Chemistry Happens

As a valued member of our Site team, you will provide daily support to the execution team of your assigned unit. You will be primarily responsible for reviewing daily environmental compliance records and periodic reporting requirements while providing input and support to the Site’s environmental strategy.

Formula for Success

  • Your strong educational background in Chemical Engineering and professional background in chemical manufacturing operations, project design and construction, and/or EHS, will be an asset as you serve as the Unit Contact for Agency inspections/audits, as well as compiling data for required environmental reports.

  • Leveraging your knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable codes, regulations, and standards, you will direct the development and implementation of equipment- and administrative-based processes to achieve full compliance with environmental guidelines.

  • As a trusted advisor, you will develop, oversee, and support environmental training of production personnel.

  • Driving the successful application of process engineering concepts, you will deliver continuous improvement solutions that will minimize the impact of environmental processes, including waste minimization.
