Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas
Description: The analyst will specialize in F-35 Lethality analysis, including new weapons, and will assist as needed with Survivability and Interoperability analysis. This specific position is an F-35 integrated systems performance analyst utilizing data and information garnered from a combination of flight test, man-in-the-loop simulations, constructive/desktop modeling, and data analysis using various analytical tools. This position will report to the Manager of the Integrated Systems Evaluation (ISE) team within F-35 Test and Verification and work under the guidance of a senior Technical Lead. The analyst will perform analysis, conduct assessments, and write reports for evaluation and/or verification of F-35 integrated systems capability performance to meet requirements. Successful candidate will be comfortable/flexible with learning, running and generating results from various analytical models, analytical tools and databases. Additionally, will be expected to interface with internal and external customers and may assist to summarize detailed written analysis and assessments into executive level summaries and briefings.
The position will require infrequent travel to various test sites to coordinate and observe execution of real-time testing. Must be flexible on short notice to conduct travel.
--Bachelors degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or computer science
--Previous testing and analysis experience in aeronautical or aerospace test, evaluation, or verification.
-- Working knowledge of MATLAB, UNIX, LINUX, or Windows based systems.
-- Analysis capabilities and/or data analysis development skills.
--Familiarity with military aircraft and aircraft systems (Aero/performance, offensive & defensive avionics, weapons).
--Familiarity with analysis tools
--Previous experience in customer or product requirements and testing of same.
--Ability to read, understand and modify existing code (C++) and post processing scripts. Familiarity with Excel/VBA/C++/JAVA/PERL/XML a plus.
