Lockheed Martin QA Engineering Manager - Product Process Verification (PPV) in Fort Worth, Texas

We are seeking a F-35 Quality Engineering Manager to lead a team of Quality Engineers in the execution of the Product Process Verification (PPV) Phase II Project. In this role, the manager will ensure the quality engineering team enables the successful completion of the program to include meeting technical, cost, schedule, and programmatic requirements. • Monitor and validate the Quality Engineering team is performing PPV projects within defined processes and resource limitations. The manager will define, establish, conduct, and maintain appropriate business rhythm activities to ensure adequate visibility and control of project status and execution. For this PPV project, the manager will serve as the point of contact for F-35 Q&MS to ensure compliance with F-35 quality, cost, and rate initiatives. • This role will involve working with cross-functional support organizations and process; focusing on shop floor application of design data and validating engineering requirements. • Direct support and interface with F-35 Production Operations and Production Engineering department. • Responsible and accountable for delivering effective methods and initiating improvements positively impacting overall quality performance. • Will collaborate with various functions to assure compliance and continuous improvement. Will provide local customer interface.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent direct work experience. Experience working at all levels of the organization to identify and drive systemic root cause and corrective action utilizing quantitative, qualitative analytical capabilities to communicate and influence others in a concise, data driven manner. Demonstrated ability to conduct/coordinate process and product evaluations and assessments. Experience executing PPV or PPAP Production Part Approval Process related projects.
