The Departmental Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of the Repair & Overhaul Center.
Position Responsibilities:
Managing all aspects office administration:
Phone coverage
Calendar scheduling
Creating and maintaining reports
Meeting coordination
Agenda planning
Ordering and managing supplies
Project planning and execution
Travel Arrangements
Itinerary Planning (flights, transportation, reservations) of senior level Government officials & visitors
Submit invoices and process expense reports
Responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, creating PowerPoint presentations, planning/coordinating events, special projects and some project management.
Interface with multiple levels of management and staff.
Acts as an extension of the Brand and the ROC (Repair & Overhaul Center) Director to provide exceptional service and support for VIP, community partners, Government & Military personnel and distinguished guest arrivals and departures.
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Bachelors degree is preferred.
Position Requirements:
At least five years senior level administrative support experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and typing test of 50 wpm.
Precision and attention to detail are critical competencies.
Must be able to create meaningful relationships throughout the business and collaborate freely and cross-functionally.
Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills and ability to multi-task.

This is an in-office (no remote option) position.
This role will require flexibility with work hours to support the Director as needed and based on Director’s schedule. Could require more than 40 hours per work.
The workdays are Monday through Friday 7am-5pm and will require flexibility to support the Director as needed, including flexibility on weekends. Hours are not consistent.
