Summary

This is a TERM position NTE 30 SEP 2023 It is a time limited position and may be extended up to a maximum of six years. This position may be converted to a permanent career or career-conditional appointment without further competition Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or temporary reassignment NTE 5 years by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions or reassignments may be extended up to a maximum of five years and may be made permanent without further competition

Responsibilities

Resolve problems that often involve conflicting or incomplete information which is created by supporting diverse Army component units

Verify all unit and individual deployments to ensure that staffing levels are sufficient to support the mission requirement

Provide human resources support to units in support of contingency and humanitarian support operations

Submit government-required reports relative to the contractor?s performance work statement to ensure the government receives all services for which it pays

Conduct staff meetings to ensure personnel are well informed of mission, goal, and objectives

Review completed work for soundness of overall approach, effectiveness in meeting requirements or producing expected results

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. One year of specialized experience: (1) Providing Military human resources advisory services; (2) analyzing data related to Military human resources; and (3) utilizing military personnel automated systems (4) providing guidance, interpretations, training and/or briefings on current and proposed policies for military personnel. OR Education for Experience: You must have completed a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Human Resources Management. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
