The Facilities Planner will serve as the single point of contact for all Mission Training Complex (MTC) facility utilization issues. Identifies and implements all applicable government regulations, policies, and procedures. Plans, coordinates, and supervises MTC facility scheduling, utilization, future requirements, and medium to large collective training ensuring events are scheduled and resourced.
The Facility Planner will also perform the following duties:
-Support the Site Operations, Plans and Training Officer to identify training unit facility support requirements to ensure facility availability, configuration, and utilization in order to support all levels of training events.
-Synchronizes and coordinates macro-level MCIS (Mission Command Information System), network and trainer support for all training events involving the Fort Bliss Mission Training Complex.
-Oversee all aspects of Medium/Large Exercise and Facility Scheduling and Security Operations.
-Be responsible for tracking and reporting Quality Assurance and Quality Control metrics IAW Government guidance.
-Maintain Fort Bliss Mission Training Complex TS-MATS (Training Support-Materiel Army wide Tracking System) Data base. TS-MATS is the IT system in the Army to collect and maintain inventory, maintenance, usage, and workload information for all TRADOC TADSS. Submit and maintain all required reports and documentation.
-Represents the government customer, as directed, at designated unit and installation-level meetings.
-Coordinate and Track MTC/Unit planning processes for Medium/Large Exercise to include FEP/MEP and IPRs.
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree with 3 years' of experience, 4 additional years' of experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
• Previous Army leadership experience at Brigade level or above required.
• Experience with Army property / supply accountability procedures involving facilities, supplies, and automation equipment.
• Must possess SECRET clearance.
• Detailed understanding of MCIS (Mission Command Information Systems) (CPOF, JCR, AFATDS). Must have a working knowledge of information systems to include the Microsoft Office suite of software programs.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience as an MTC Facility Planner.
