Assembler II
Prepare, process, clean, install, assemble, rework, verify, test, and/or inspect electrical and mechanical components, hardware, subassemblies, and assemblies on single or multiple product lines
Operate shop equipment and tools where applicable
Adhere to environmental and safety procedures associated with production processes and procedures
Work from process work instructions and test procedures to complete tasks along with monitoring and recording related documentation to meet quality requirements
Communicate individual inventory needs for work center
Follow production build rates, schedules and meet required cycle times
Interface with manufacturing systems using computers or other electronic devices as required
Actively participates in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs)
Utilize electronic documentation and MRP systems
Pick, pack and ship activities
Perform other related duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires a high school education or equivalent
1 year experience required
PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment
Experience working on a minimum of 1 product line and 1 discipline (Assembly / Test / Shipping)
Requires good written and verbal communication skills
Basic reading and math skills
Good manual dexterity, and eye/hand coordination
Basic computer skills
Ability to work and contribute in a team environment
