In the Senior Accountant role, you will support the company's goals by preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, establishing budgets and forecasting, preparing audits, and handling internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This Senior Accountant role is located in Dallas, Texas within the Investment Management/Companies field.

Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary
Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Assemble monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Engage in various department-wide initiatives
Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Expertise in Big 4 Accounting Firm
Microsoft Excel experience desired
SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Sound written and verbal communication skills
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Certified Public Accountant - CPA (US)
Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Skilled with ERP systems
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Must have excellent time management skills
Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Notable analytical, quantitative and social skills
