Position Title

Senior Information Security Architect -Cloud Services

Overview

The Senior Information Security Architect position will be a hands-on role covering all security aspects supporting the JDA Cloud service offering. In addition, this is a thought leadership position responsible building and enhancing the security maturity within the organization. High level responsibilities include oversight of operational security processes, identifying security improvement opportunities by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; development and implementation of security enhancements, and interacting with JDA customers. In addition, this position will collaborate with internal JDA product development and IT organizations to help facilitate security best practices into our products and service portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for security policy and procedure, security design and implementation, and incident response and mitigation.

  • Assessing, building, and supporting security solutions and controls including: SEIM, IPS, internet content filtering, Identity and Access Management, web application firewalls(WAF), vulnerability scanners, penetration tests, Active Directory group policies(GPOs), and logical access controls

  • Provide thought leadership and advancement of the JDA Cloud service portfolio

  • Develop, implement, monitor, and manage compliance against security practices

  • Develop and implement security improvements by assessing current situation, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements

  • Collaborate with the corporate IT security team to develop and support corporate security risk management programs.

  • Address the security aspects of configuration management, contingency planning, and other operational processes relevant to support the JDA Cloud service offering

  • Develop and provide visibility of organizational KPI’s

  • Define deployment security standards for customer facing services

  • Participation in the RFP process; interface with internal/external customers as needed

  • Collaborate with other JDA organization to champion enhancements of JDA services offerings and capabilities

  • Participate in internal and external audits as required

  • Assess and evaluate the security posture of 3rd party vendor products and services

Required Skills

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and minimum 10 years’ field experience. CISSP certification is highly desired.

  • Candidate must have the expertise to interpret and improve Cloud’s technical and business environment, familiarity with national security standards, experience with ISO 27001/2, PCI DSS, SSAE16, NIST/FedRAMP, HIPAA Security Rule, security auditing, risk management, vulnerability and penetration testing.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts (threats, vulnerabilities, risk, confidentiality, integrity, availability, cryptography, network/application security, web security, etc.)

  • Experience working in a revenue and/or mission critical environment

  • Candidate must have the proven ability to serve as an effective member of a leadership team.

  • Lead security planning efforts and interact effectively with customers, auditors, vendors, and key stakeholders.

  • Must have practical hands-on experience with the development, implementation, and management of security related technologies (ie: DNS, Splunk SIEM, WAF, McAfee AV, Cisco/Palo Alto Firewalls, Securing Internet facing services)

  • Drive innovation and advancement supporting JDA Cloud service offerings

  • Excellent customer service, strong written and oral communication skills
