Robert Half International Senior Finance Specialist in Dallas, Texas
Robert Half Finance & Accounting has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Specialist to join a global Professional Services firm. Preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, creating budgets and forecasts, preparing audits, and managing internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting are among the key responsibilities for this role. Candidates need to bring strong analytical skills to the role and should be capable of handling challenging, fast-paced work environments. This Senior Specialist role is based in Dallas, Texas. How you will make an impact
Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives
Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests
Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Provide monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Exceptional time management skills preferred
Efficient in ERP systems
Excellent attention to detail
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Solid understanding of project accounting
Budget management experience
Intercompany Accounting experience
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
